Recovery!! (relieving exam-trauma)

After one exam:

Drinks at Raffles Marina Country Club were So Good!! If i lived nearby Tuas i would've been an alcoholic sooner or later, honestly. Or actually, 'sooner' might be more apt for now, since i'm beginning to grow into alcohol. LOL.
SG$9.90 for that tiny shot of Baileys. It was so good though, i would have it twice next time i go back there!

Then, the very last day of school.
To be honest, as much as i dread those tedious lessons and tutorials, i would've liked to have experienced it again. So strange, but at that time, when you know all those times that were routine to you for the past 3 years are about to become a memory you suddenly begin to treasure it more.
Bittersweet nostalgia in this case, haha!
As things turned out, only an hour of school was had. HAHA! K and i met up at FEP to do our nails firstand were joined by S. later! Then, breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya toast :)) and Domino's pizza with K and L afterwards. BEST PIZZA EVER!

Anyway, after yet another exam:
Prelude to the feast we would have afterwards.

And then: END OF EXAMS!
<- Killer boots...literally. Back of both feet all skinned and sore since Wednesday.      <- K: "Take a photo of this it looks like a huge bird invading SG!" LOL
Dinner with the whole gang afterwards at this delicious Indonesian restaurant (instead of serving you normal cooked, perhaps-a-little-tough chicken, the cooks here tenderize the meat using the back and sides of the cleavers to make the meat more tender and firm! It's 'Smashed Chicken' apparently. :) ).
S and L had to go afterwards, so K., S.H and i headed to Red Dot at Raffles. It was okay :)

And yesterday:

K with the girls and this Delicious meal of prata afterwards! The restaurant's called 'Prata Wala', super delicious. Still the minutest bit bummed about not being able to get my hoody(all sold out! ): ) but ytd was really fun! And the room was really spacious(plus the drinks were nice!). One of the more fun experiences i've had in a KBox i guess :)

And today:
 Bigass fish!

Xiao Long Baos at Paradise Dynasty, an impromptu round of K and a new purse from Plaza Singapura and finally-The Shining. From Liang Court where we went for k. :)
I'm especially stoked about the book because i've been searching for it since 10! Always wanted to read it ever since my then-tuition teacher(who was twice my age)asked me how i could bear reading Stephen King's works; apparently he stopped mid-way through The Shining because it really creeped him out.
I guess i'm more of a visual creature, because images of scary things spook me more, haha!
Anyway, am going to spend tomorrow reading this beauty after jogging. I've piled on the pounds during CNY and the exam period! ):

On another note, it's ironic that i'm facing more stress now after graduation as opposed to the exam-period. Granted i slacked a whole lot( a LOT) during the latter, but the woes of a young adult have officially began to crash down upon me.
I know at 19-20 this year-, i should have my own job and be supporting myself financially now. However, i really don't think it's much to ask for at least a week of rest before getting a job though. I seriously don't get why my mum can't just let me rest before venturing out in the working world...can't i just have some time and space to adjust my mentality-from that of a relatively carefree, fun-loving student to a more serious, hardworking one appropriate to any young adult about to work to support herself?
Perhaps it sounds really spoilt, compared to others who have it tough; those working to pay their own school fees; working to support their families and themselves... but each to their own pace, i believe.

Hopefully K. and i would successfully land that job at Cisco in the airport in March soon.
Happy Hour after a certain time!
Fun and laughter during the job!
Oh and DUTY FREE SHOPPING.
:DD Enough to make any girl squeal! Hahaha.

...on a side-note, i'd better get started on that portfolio for Laselle tomorrow as well.
Sigh.

Nights y'all! :)
