Timbre~

Absolutely love stories written in old English-so well written, intricate and beautiful! *issuchanerd :D*
Anyway, went to Timbre with C and S at Collier Quay last night! Sam and i went to shop at Bugis first tho, and emerged with shorts for relatively cheap prices :D Also watched Beyonce performing live(on tv)while Sam was trying on shorts. Damn, i have to go to one of her concerts these days...!
Anyway, so i rushed down from Bugis (tiring i tell you) and Chennie picked me up from Central's bus stop,and off we went to Timbre!
We had Lychee liqueur and mango mojitos first, whitebait, then duck pizza(DAMN GOOD OMG),4 cheese, mushroom and hawaiian when S finally arrived :) ~ calamari rings too. Then to round it off, i had Choco Choco, a Bailey's confection.
C and S were in the mood for ice cream afterwards, so we went in search of said sweet treat at 10pm+. Finally got it, then went home afterwards~
Man, i slept well last night. Haha.
Alrighty, am tired so i'll just stop it at here~

-that i Want, and Need! Goodness, the lack of privacy i have in my house... -_- sometimes i resort to hiding my stuff under my pillows or blanket(if it's flat enough) when i go out, cause i can't lock my door...it broke some months ago. -_-I hope my mum doesn't find my blog. LOL.
Anyway, school today was better than expected :)

When I was in canada few years back, the pinoys even put philippine flag in place of the front license plate (only the rear license plate is required over there). I never see anyone from other countries do that. Only them.

whattaworld, it is good to be proud of your country. But while in another host country, where you have chosen to work and live in, instead of the home country you are "proud" of --- being too proud IS THE PROBLEM.

Can't wait to finally enjoy a holiday without fretting over projects, school revision and the like. Also, the start of the hols will be when Odie and i go on a cruise with my mum and aunt!!! I can't wait :DD
I BET IT'LL BE SO FUNNNNN. 8D

Sadako 3D (spoilers)-
-was LAME. On hindsight, Odie and i should have just ignored the fact that we were late and gone for The Dictator instead.
The only scare-factor came from the sound effect-which were used even at lame moments, eg: human is in front of protagonist's face when she turns, then *cue loud sound effect*. -_- The only resounding thought i had throughout the entire movie was that Sadako really needed to shampoo her hair and get some serious treatment done to it. Add to that the fact that she was thrown down the well wearing a white dress, but emerged as a 'monster'-even my niece could draw scarier monsters than that-wearing this hideous green...pantsuit. Idk what's the proper term for it but in short,it was laughable.
There was this other moment that everyone in the theatre laughed, and it was when the protagonist screamed at a really high-pitch at the computer screen, thus causing the screen to shatter and Sadako to dissipate into...this butterfly/fly-like mass.
-_- Imagine, some mighty supernatural force dissipating at the mere sound of a high-pitched scream. What an ineffective ghost(i'd imagine ghosts to really deliver frights and chills instead of going M.I.A)! LOL
Anyway, the reason behind the shattered screen was further explained in the middle of the movie. With a melodramatic scene thrown in for measure. The female child actress struck me as pretty, but didn't really seem to sink into her role.
To digress, i really dislike emotional scenes. -_- Give me action! Suspense! Tense moments! Proper Horror!
Wonder who on earth made the storyline and directed this movie. It's kind of a disappointment to the later Sadako movies, which were far more frightening(the creepy eye peeking out from matted hair; the spider walk; the face). The whole theatre was abuzz with what a let-down it was when it ended.
I hope the next Sadako film will live up to it's predecessor's notoriety(for giving it's viewers a very real sense of fear).
...On hindsight however, it did provide a good laugh. Most of the disappointment i feel stems from not getting what i paid for-sense of dread and horror-and mushy,emotional scenes. But other than that, if you want a good laugh spiced with a little bit of tension, one should go for this! XD
Should go on weekdays though; $7 is a far more reasonable price than $11(weekend rates).
I find that giving 'movie reviews' lets me exercise my vocab and lets me indulge my habit of being descriptive. I like.
But anyway, today wasn't all wasted! I got to spend time with Odie,at least :D We met at Toa Payoh(we were both late~)for lunch...had Mos burger and shopped around a bit. I got this baggy navy shirt-finally have an article of clothing i can wear my black leggings with!-and scalp-treatment shampoo.
I find that i favor shopping at Toa Payoh cause 1) It has many stores selling korean/ taiwanese clothes which are comfy and really affordable! 2) Some of the clothes aren't be sold en masse nation-wide, thus making it less likely for you to wear the same top/bottom.
And 3) Cause i like cheap thrills. And of course, the comfy-factor :)
Speaking of cheap thrills, imma head back to T.P to get this really cute purple backpack soon! On Mon, most probably. :D
On a hindnote, i really hope i can make it to Timbre next Tues. I really wanna drink!!! Baileys & Mojitos! :DD

Was GREATTTTTT! :D It happened ytd, but was too tired to blog about it. A piece of bad news, i'm afraid, is that i dropped my cam and it got spoilt...so,no pics from my cam. So i'll use W.'s ones instead :D
A. and i overslept, so we didn't manage to bake a cake as planned, but we did sandwiches and finger food! Then we rushed to Harborfront to meet S. and W. and off we went to Sentosa!
We walked there and man was it hot. A. began to braid her hair and S. and W. followed suit, so i got mine braided by A. too XD (took a lot of cam whoring pics with the braid; may get to post it up later cause imma have it repaired! :)) Then we ate, laughed and joked around...my memory's kinda hazy now, but i think we went to ResortsWorld next, took more photos and then returned to Palawan beach, took even more photos then went to Vivo for ice kachang and dinner~
CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO SENTOSA AGAIN! =D This time it'll be a chalet trip where we're gonna stay for 2 nights, hopefully! :DD Had such fun ytd <3
