Newton again-

-with who other but S.! Haha.
Went to get my IC photo done first, then bought two more books before going to meet S. at the gym:

She also tells me that apparently, you can get fake ICs and driving licenses done at Bangkok! They know how to do these ICs, once they get ahold of ICs of those unlucky enough to lose theirs. Ooh, the underbelly of B.K.

Anyway, i shall leave you with a pic of our dinner:
Photo: Cute prata!

Ain't the prata cute? :D Never had prata cut into bite-sized pieces before, excuse my suaku-ness. Heehee~

Off to game and read more stories now.
Nights all! ^^

Breathless~

Today was a fun day! C:

Met Odie at Toa Payoh where i got my bangs cut, then off we went to ION to do some earring-shopping for her~ Also had Starbucks. How i've missed their green tea lattes!
Then we went to meet her friends. Twas a bit awkward at first, but we all had fun in the end, i think! ^_^ (re: watching Running Man, having a pillow fight at her friend's house after dinner, etc~)

Anyway, i encountered a spat between two grumbling aunties whilst my way up the elevator in my apartment(en route home). My command of the Chinese language is so poor a chimp could top me in Chinese exams(sad lil asian that i am), so i didn't exactly know what was going on, but the gist of it seemed to revolve around one's trash having flown down onto another's balcony... tsk, so petty.
And that awkward moment when you're in between two furious aunties and you don't know what to do but just go:
"Just let me go home and rest..."

Haha. Anyway, off i go to bed now. Nights y'all! ^^

ps: This guy should totally be a Horror-author. The twists and macabre morbidness worthy of being a Stephen King novel!

Steampunk Fairy

Steampunk Fairy So pretty! :D I wonder if i could ever draw a 'steampunk woman' one day. That'd be cool.

Good Reddit authors

Yet more superb authors! :)
I do love stumbling upon these absolutely fantastic, tense stories in the midst of all the other mediocre stories. They make finding them so much more better! Haha.

On a different note, i came up with a storyboard-for part of my portfolio-or today and will most prob start on drawing the characters tmr...can't wait!
I do so love fusing animals and humans together(think a mermaid, then a shark-girl, feline-like humans, etc...). That combination of animal grace, agility, strength and human intelligence is just so cool! Plus it's a challenge. I like such challenges.

Pics up tmr if i've time to draw!

Nights all ^^

ps: found this deep comment that makes sense. 'Cost of Imagination' indeed...

[–]Phaedroi 29 points  ago
When one stares into the void, the void often stares back. In that void we often find the worst in ourselves has been embodied, for the void is infinite, and in that infinite void anything is possible. What we see in the void does exist, but only because we have created it. It is the imprint of mind as it traverses the terrifying expanse of the void. The longer our minds traverse that space, the more it insinuates itself into the cracks and dark spaces that exist in your mind, the spaces you try not to remember. All the times you were cruel. All the times that you passed by someone who needed help that you could give. The void absorbs the parts of ourselves we'd much rather forget, and it becomes darker. The conscious void is our unwanted child, and we are responsible for every action that it takes. Every death hangs over our heads. It is the cost of imagination.

K

...as much as i would love to post pictures(of food and P.W.Ktv's room), my comp refuses to upload them, so. -.-

Anyway, met Odie for a sorta-impromptu karaoke session today! Lunched at Pastamania and sang our lil hearts out afterwards. I like how we always favor the same songs and yell out the lyrics. :D

I also could be working at Bossini during the hols; $7/hr is good! Or so it seems to me. Haha.
Mum's advised me to work at Popular, but at the rate i'm buying books...it's most certain i'd be working for books as payment(i'd be using my pay to buy books and all)instead. -.-

Should start on my portfolio tommorow; will post pics up, i think!
Nights all. ^^

PS: I wonder if there's such a thing as being too proud of one's weirdness? Hmmmm.

The fu... <- "The fu...??"

According to my mum...

...we apparently have a lil, brown pet lizard living in our house.
Haha!
According to her, it's identifiable by a darker brown marking on it's tail and it's been lurking in our house since it was small. My mum says it's also been lurking around the garbage chute, waiting for any small cockroaches or insects to eat. Once she put roach poison and the lil lizard had to run about looking for healthy cockroaches to eat.
Haha!
Yeah ik it's gross, but i think this pet-lizard business thing is cute, anyway!

I also wouldn't mind getting this for a pet:

A bearded dragon!
I think reptiles can be cute too. :)

Anyway, nothing of note going on these days...tsk, so boring.

Ta, peeps! ^^

Why i love Stephen King:

s13ky:

THE STEPHEN KING UNIVERSE FLOW CHART:  A GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING THE AUTHOR’S WORKS

Stolen from here

His works are all interlinked-this ingenious, glorius man has actually created an entire world of his own for his readers to enjoy!!!
I quite like his works and plan to get his series tmr...or maybe on Sun, cause i've finished those 2 books ytd.
Stephen King! <3

Ps: Creepy little bon mots:
midnight-gallery:

The Haunted Marotte.
This curious item once belonged to the English theatre actor James Fontaine. He was best known for playing the role of Hop-Frog, a jester character from the stage adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s story of the same name. It was during one particular performance in 1922 that he lost his life to a freak onstage accident; part of the set fell from above and decapitated him, flinging his head into the horrified audience.
After his death it was believed the prop was cursed because wherever it was kept fires kept breaking out, a strange coincidence as fire also plays a part in Poe’s tale; the jester takes his revenge out on the king and his cabinet by setting them ablaze.
The prop is pictured here with the mysterious crosses which appeared on the walls of the late actor’s home after the death of seven close family members. The house was riddled with damp which seemed to disappear overnight leaving these ghostly markings. Visitors to the house have reported hearing eerie laughter and the sound of tinkling bells coming from the attic where the jester stick was kept locked away in a trunk.

Impromptu poem

Nothing much on, as usual, for today!
Just gymed with Sarah(60 straight minutes of biking, arm toning and whole-body workout, woo!)and dined at Fish and Co.

Initially didn't want to blog about it cause i don't know how to send pics from my iPhone to this comp(tech idiot here says hi!), but should be able to figure it out by tmr!
Aka ask my friends for help. Hur hur.

Anyway, pic spam!
I don't normally like Rilakuma(except the white one, which i find cute!), but this is adorable! Then again, maybe it's attraction lies in it's Japanese origins.
JAPANNNNNNN.

I actually wanted to post pics of my trip to Hokkaido in 2010 but i don't know where those pics have gone...but no matter. I shall spam this blog with such pics when i go there again!

And a surprising thing: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/5-surprising-things-make-slim-090000316.html
I don't know if it's credible, but well, it seems an alluring thing to believe. Heehee.

Kbox tmr with K., Sam and L.Y, can't wait! :DD
Woo!

Oh yes, allow me to spin a little yarn about this pic (found on SpookyScaryThings.tumblr.com); this little rhyme just popped into my head:

Here comes the boy from the sea
But has he come for you, or for me?

The lantern he carries is filled with souls of the dead
Each and every one of them screaming out with dread

For first he caught the worst; murderers then thieves
Those who, when inflicting pain, would then their hearts be pleased

For the final touch, a shred from a corpse's heart
One whose lover, with hurtful words bade them part

So do these souls live, co-existing together in shame
But for their plight, have they not only themselves to blame?

Now the boy's lantern is almost empty; his container only half full
The next one he catches, one's miserable plight will one rue

So now he comes.
Do you see?
But has he come for you, or for me?

Haven't written a poem in ages, but i used to way back in Sec school here(http://complexchild33.blogspot.sg/)! Thus forgive me if it seems somewhat less than satisfactory. :)
I was an emo, weird little kid back then(and probably am still weird but considerably less emo now). Haha!
Nostalgia.

Alright, signing off now.
Nights peeps! ^^
