Isaacs explains that a toxic friendship is unsupportive, draining, unrewarding, stifling, unsatisfying, and often unequal.
"Toxic friends stress you out, use you, are unreliable, are overly demanding, and don't give anything back," Isaacs tells WebMD.
Just when i managed to extricate one from my life, another was in the wings, waiting.
I really wonder; do i seem that easy to target? I guess bad things will happen to people who give friendship willingly and openly.
But, well...lessons have and will be learnt. Knowledge is always power anyway...and i know i've got my real friends backing me up. :)
