Random, but i was looking at 'Places to find best burmese food at' in Yahoo and came across this debate. I COMPLETELY AGREE. I often see the maids around my neighbourhood strutting around as if they own the place. F____s.
I go Peninsula often to get the Myanmar coffee it's good. These people are much humbler and nicer than the egocentric Pinos6 Replies

You are right, the Pinoys, having worked here for a long time, even as maids can be so egoistic. And when they are promoted - wah lau! Let's hope the Burmese will remain humble when they do well here :)

When I was in canada few years back, the pinoys even put philippine flag in place of the front license plate (only the rear license plate is required over there). I never see anyone from other countries do that. Only them.

@ Teo - To be honest, I don't see nothing wrong with putting a flag in place of their front license plate; that is what you call being proud of their race...

Agreed with you, Burmese are better people, kind & honest. I stay in yangon & mandalay for almost 5 months. They are much much better people than PRC & Pinoy's. - Teo • Singapore, Singapore •
whattaworld, it is good to be proud of your country. But while in another host country, where you have chosen to work and live in, instead of the home country you are "proud" of --- being too proud IS THE PROBLEM.
