Haven't seen her in AGEEEES! Well, technically speaking it was just a matter of weeks, but still. ~
Missed this girl lots. <3<3<3 :D She's like a twinnie to me~
Anyway, we went to watch Promethus, after a hurried lunch at Salad Stop...
To digress a bit, it seems as though there are vast MULTITUDES of 'foreign talent' working in SG's industries. Odie was displeased at the complete lack of ethics on this filipino salesperson's part in Denizen today and i was not happy with those at Salad Stop, Novena earlier in the day...they charged me for a $3 add-on ingredient when i didn't even mention it! Good thing i checked the receipt...they then gave me black faces when i informed them-nicely, may i add-about it.
Seriously, a staggering majority of them need a complete revamp of ethics, morals, manners...and so much more.
As you can probably tell, i'm still smarting from the utterly rotten treatment i received from those at Robinsons whilst my IPP.
But, well, karma. Hopes it kicks them good.
-mini rant here over-
Promethus was niceeeee. Had the right amounts of tension, a few scattered comedic moments, timed it's lulls at appropriate moments to make the upcoming tense happenings more intense. At least that's what i think anyway...Odie got-to put it in her own words-shocked by the movie. It was when the mini alien leapt out at the researchers.
HAHAHA. She was shocked even after the movie! Amusing lor. XD
We then embarked on a mini shopping spree. I saw three things-pretty green/black beribboned top from G2000, maroon leggings from Cotton On and a pink sleeveless top from Denizen-that i r e a l l y liked!
Good thing i left my credit card at home, i guess... Odie didn't get the top from Denizen due to that woman's complete disregard for ethics. I didn't either, cause she was being really pushy. Plus the fact that i don't-and probably never will-think highly of them after getting to see how they're really like behind one's back.
Twas nice; pity about the salesperson selling it, really.
Argh, dk what's with the profusion of these people, really. I cannot stand their attitudes and complete lack of manners, ethics and morals!
...preferably with a sledgehammer.
Sheesh i need to work out my anger in gym tmr.
Annoyances aside, Odie and i then went to ION for dinner. I finally got to taste the soy garlic chicken thing Sarah was talking about and i t w a s G O O O O O D. :DDD
Now i get why people would prefer this brand over KFC. Delish! :D
Anyway, seeing Odie dear again this Thurs~ <3 Can't wait! :)
